Florence House has been beautifully restored – it’s the perfect venue for fellowship. It sits at the bottom of Seaford Head, on the edge of the South Downs National Park, close to the beach. The house is surrounded by lush landscapes and sea breezes: a haven and much-loved venue for life-enhancing workshops. Nestled in stunning six-acre grounds the peaceful walled garden provides the perfect place for quiet meditation and inner reflection. Each unique bedroom offers a slightly different theme with views over the sea, the rolling hills of the South Downs or the gardens. In essence it is a place of inspiration, of calm spirituality and healing energy. The beautiful gardens, the beach, Cuckmere Haven and the South Downs National Park provide an ideal environment in which to enjoy yoga, meditation, an abundance of fellowship, delicious vegetarian food, walks on the ‘Seven Sisters’ and trips to the beach.

Our workshops

Each of our workshops provides an opportunity for members of 12-step fellowships to work through the twelve steps in order to practice the ‘annual or semi-annual house cleaning’ Bill Wilson wrote about in ’12 Steps and 12 Traditions’.

The workshops are free. Single rooms cost £410; shared rooms £380. All meals are provided.
